This manuscript contains one of the fullest versions of the legal collection known as the Quadripartitus. It can be dated to the late twelfth or early thirteenth century. The collection was supplemented with the Instituta Cnuti and was given an extra quire to accommodate this. Other items in the manuscript include Geoffrey of Monmouth’s Historia Regum Britanniae and the Gesta of Alexander the Great.
