MS A. 27 (368)

This combined pontifical/benedictional, know as the 'Lanalet pontifical', dates from the late tenth or early eleventh century. It is associated with either St Germans or Wells, and may have belonged to Archbishop Lyfing (d. 1020) during his time as bishop of Wells (998/9-1013). It contains among its items the coronation oath and a number of ordeal manuals.
