MS 190

This manuscript is a miscellany of ecclesiastical law and custom. It contains two parts, one mainly written in Latin with some Old English notes and glosses, the other in English. Both parts were compiled in the eleventh century and were bound together at an early date. The laws reproduced here – , Hadbot, and Mirce (fos. 418-20) – were added to the English part of the manuscript in the second half of the eleventh century. The manuscript is of Exeter provenance.
