In this manuscript
This manuscript contains a collection of law-codes, legal treatises, and procedural manuals, and constitutes a legal encyclopedia created in the third quarter of the twelfth century: it has a copy of Quadripartitus, which lacks its prefatory sections; a text known as Ulpianus de edendo, which is a procedural manual drawn from Roman law; the earliest version of the short form of the Leis Willelme, which is the oldest legal treatise composed in French; and a text called the Holkham Leges Edwardi, which joins a large number of selections from the Consiliatio Cnuti to the earliest copy of the second version of the Leges Edwardi.
