MS lat. 4771

This manuscript is a late twelfth-century law book copied in England which contains the Colbertine Cnut (Cn Cb: an amalgam of the Consiliatio Cnuti and Instituta Cnuti), the Articuli of William I (Wl art), and the earliest copy of version 3 of the Leges Edwardi Confessoris (ECf3).  A genealogy of the dukes of Normandy follows, and this, along with the age of the script, allows the copy to be dated to soon after Richard I's accession.
