MS Additional 14252

This manuscript contains among its items the legal treatise known as Glanvill and certain laws and charters relating to the city of London. The collection seems to have been put together so as to support the case of the Londoners and the barons against King John during the years before 1215. There is a strong connection between this manuscript and Rylands MS Latin 155, with one scribe having composed the latter and also the first part of the Additional manuscript.
