Whittlebury modification of Æthelstan’s Thunderfield code (VI As 12)
This text is a modification, made at a meeting at Whittlebury, of the legislation promulgated at Thunderfield. The modification primarily relates to the age at which a thief could be executed. It survives in the twelfth-century legal compilation known as the Textus Roffensis.
