Dom be haten ísene an[d] wæt[re] (Ordal)
This text is an account of the administration of the ordeals of hot iron and hot water. It survives in a single manuscript written at Rochester in the early twelfth century. The text shares a number of features with the law codes of Æthelstan’s reign, including vocabulary.
